December is indeed one of the most celebrated month of the year as a lot of religious and social celebration like Christmas parties are taking place. As a season of great joy and giving, 5th and 4th batch learners, scholars, international volunteers, and staff concluded the year with fun and surprises.
Last December 15, at 2:00 in the afternoon at Sagrada Familia Chapel Ground took place the Payatas Year-End Event. Sr. Frances Mangabat, SDS welcomed all the participants and expressed her gratitude towards the success of Payatas Charity Event. She added that the heartfelt gratitude should continue even if it is not Christmas and should be apply in the daily life.
The event comprised of exciting parlor games, talent presentations of the learners, major and minor raffle draws, and of course, a feast of food especially prepared by the learners and staff. Twenty four (24) raffle draw winners received grocery package.
At the very end of the event, staff facilitated the exchange gifts of the learners.
All ended well as everyone leaves the venue with smile in their faces. “Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas.” ― Peg Bracken
