It’s the 2nd year of partnership and collaboration of Puso Sa Puso Edukasyon, Inc. to the Ateneo De Manila University – School of Medicine and Public Health. As the new batch of medical students kick in to the institution and establishing the stronger teamwork, an orientation and meeting conducted last September 29, 2017.
Sr. Frances Mangabat, SDS, Program Supervisor, Sr. Mila Singap, FLP (Parola Supervisor), two Social Workers of both centers, 3 Instructional Managers of Payatas and six Ateneo medical students are present on the said meeting. Sr. Frances spearheaded the entire talk while Mr. Jeremie Cruz, RN, LPT presented the background, mission, and programs of Puso Sa Puso.
Thereafter, the discussion of their roles in our institution follows as one of their formations at their Learning Experiences in Communities (LEC). Accordingly, they will be work hand on hand with the Kenyan Brothers who already have established beneficiaries of both communities of Parola and Payatas. Their beneficiaries include lactating mothers, and children from infant to toddler. To furthermore discuss the details of this collaboration, a new meeting is set for the Ateneo students and Kenyan Brothers.
The meeting is adjourned at 1:00 in the afternoon and both parties are looking forward for the fruitful partnership.
