The Division Office of Quezon City administers a Division Assessment Test (DAT) for ALS learners last February 26, 2017. Elementary and Secondary learners of Congressional District 2 of Quezon City gathered at Commonwealth Elementary School for the said exam.
The DAT intently being given to the learners in order to prepare them for the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Exam and a way of assessing the learners’ knowledge and skills in particular focus on the competencies of five Learning Strands of ALS curriculum and essay writing.
In line with this, learners of our institution in Payatas participated in the activity and being accompanied by the staff. They were able to experience the common scenario that will takes place during an actual A&E. These include the importance of punctuality, proper decorum in testing room, filling-up required forms, and answering exam parallel to A&E test.
Overall, Payatas ALSA-BUHAY learners got a very good results as most of them passed both the multiple and essay exams and even got the highest scores in their respective testing rooms.
